Landscape in Blue
Temporary installation
Oakland, CA As part of the temporary, site-specific installation titled Landscape in Blue, conceived by UC Berkeley Professor Walter Hood for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art exhibit Revelatory Landscapes, I designed and fabricated a bench seat and back poster that interpreted the site’s railroad and jazz history. The project was intended to help locals and visitors alike to view the community in a new light, by revealing the historical richness beneath the present-day blight and enlivening an otherwise neglected public space. |
